This is definitely the fun part. Set ups are the most exciting. We offer a variety of options to get you started on our journey to the reef. Whether it’s a small 10 gallon nano tank or the largest of display tanks, we got you covered. 

1. First we start with the size. This depends on the location of your tank. From desktop tanks to large family room or office aquariums. We order whatever you need. The connections that we have made over the years saves us money on our orders and we pass that on to you. We deliver your new aquarium to your home. This is all included in our set up fee. There is no charge for delivery. 
2. The kind of aquarium. This can be tricky. There are many different options. Glass or acrylic. Pre drilled or standard. Bow Front or flat. This is where preference comes into play. We are very knowledgeable and skilled at helping you decide what suits your imagined aquarium. We have a couple of options that are already set up in our home showroom. Come take a peak and be inspired.
3. Type of aquarium you are imagining. Is it a fish only tank, a coral tank, or both? Is it an aggressive, semi-aggressive or passive? Is bright and vibrant? Do you have a theme in mind? Check out some examples of our custom theme tanks.     
4. Now the filtration system. Mechanical filtration, biological or a combination of both. Will it be a quiet filtration system, or do you want to hear the gentle sound of the water flowing.  This can get really confusing and there is a lot of research out there that supports both spectrums. We are experienced will all forms of filtration. We will come up with several options for you that will fit your budget and give you the crystal clear, picture quality scene you are looking for. 
5. Aquascaping is the craft of arranging aquatic plants, as well as rocks, stones, cave work etc. Whether is live rock, Life rock or anything else you can think of. We have either used it ourselves or know about it. What about sand or crushed coral substrates? We have scaped every size and every kind of aquarium. We can design the picturesque seen you are looking for. 
6. Lighting is just as important as any other aspect to your aquarium because it completely depends on what kind of tank you are looking to create. Mainly, do I want corals or not? If the answer to that question is YES! Then lighting could be the most important piece of equipment that you have. Without the proper lighting your corals will not flourish, grow and can even die. Lighting is essential to their survival and there is a lot of options out there and they all claim to be the best and many are scarily expensive and don’t do any better than the cheaper brands. We have used and tried and found some great options. We grow our own corals and we know how finicky they be with lighting. We can come up with the best choice for you that won’t break the bank, and make your corals have the wow factor that you are looking for. 
7. Lastly and maybe the best part of all. The entire reason that you started this to begin with. Bring on the FISH! The possibilities are endless and limited all at the same time. Some fish get along with everyone and others. Well. Not so much. We are extraordinarily experienced in this area because we have lived it. We have done the research ourselves and we know the local fish and pet stores. You have oh so many choices and we are here to help.
